BBC BASIC Month

February is the month for beginners!

We introduce a new theme - covering a topic each month responding to your needs!

Regulars will know that I listen to my readers. I spend much of my time looking at the search terms used to get to this site, in conjucntion with words that I don't see very often. For example, if I write an article on, say, C string handling, sometimes Googlers land on it having added 'strtok' to the mix.

This little insight has led me to the idea that rather than butterflying through my entire programming repertoire, I should instead, month by month, dedicate 75% of my articles to a special topic. Much like a magazine would.

Unlike a magazine, I'm going to let you decide. Just use the discussion thread below to suggest a topic for March. Or email me. Or use my contacts page. Anything you like (computerprogramming@suite101.com - easy to remember, no?) to get the message to me.

February is BASIC Month. I'm going to try and cover all the topics I mentioned in computer-programming-tutorials.suite101.com/article.cfm/learn_to_program_with_bbc_basic to help get readers started in programming, BBC BASIC and related topics.

March will be dedicated to PHP & SQL. If you want to change this - you know what to do!
