BBC BASIC Month - Good Start

Update and some recommended pre-reading for BBC BASIC novices

We're off to a flying start with the BBC BASIC tutorial, and for those wanting to get ahead, here's a reading list to boot!


If you take a look at the BBC BASIC Tutorial container article, you'll note that we have already covered three major topics. However, before you get stuck in, it is worth pointing out that these techniques are also a great starting point for Visual Basic, and even C. The concepts remain the same, only the keywords change.

Talking of concepts; it's also worth taking five minutes to look over the Computer Programming 101 article. This goes double for non-programmers trying to get ahead. In particular, to cover the most recent Counted Loops in BASIC Programming article, it is worthwhile to do some background reading:
