BBC BASIC Month is Over!

What a month it's been. Besides posting many more articles in a single stretch than I'm used to (and slightly neglecting my blogging in favor of it), the BBC BASIC introduction is now done. Finished, readable, and up at the following link:

Learn to Program with BBC BASIC

This series is aimed squarely at getting you up and running with BBC BASIC for WIndows, or any other BBC BASIC interopreter or BBC emulator that you happen to own/download. It's even good for those of you who still own a BBC machine from 1982.

It remains one of the best BASICs around, and probably the best place to get started with programming.

Finishing this series leaves me with two problems. One - in creating it, I relaised that there is an awful lot I had to leave out. This means that there will probably be some behind-the-scenes scrabbling around to make a second series.

The second problem will resolve itself soon - what to pick for the month of April? I'm thinking of turning my attention to Windows programming. What do you think?

For those that have a little voice in the back of their head saying 'but what about March?' : remember - it's PHP and MySQL month, and we are going to set our sights on building a rudimentary Content Management System (or CMS).

Set your sights high, that's what I say.

Happy (Bedroom) Coding!
