Ok, so if you're reading this, you probably need to kick start your SQL knowledge with a simple tutorial. If you need more advanced SQL training, then we'll be covering it in due course, but for now, this is for beginners.
Why might you want SQL?
The number one use for SQL is in web programming. Most of the modern CMS (content management systems) and online authoring platforms (Blogger, WordPress etc.) rely on a database to store all the information.
Getting started with SQL is not as hard as you might first think. All that you need is a little time, some example scripts, and a quick start so that you know the theory and practice at a high level.
Luckily, it's here, in the SQL Training First Steps tutorial.
As always, if there's anything to add/modify/delete, let me know via the usual email address.
