Hi,

The thing to remember is that .NET is an enabling technology / strategy, and as such any programming techniques or languages that you learn will be applicable in the .NET environment.

If you are a non-programer, then http://computerprogramming.suite101.com/... will be the best place to get started.

Following on from that, you might like to try and pick up an easy language, and learn how to program with it. You're in luck - February is BASIC month, and we shall be covering it from start to end.

Since you have expressed an interest in VB.NET, Visual Basic is the language to learn. And, where better to start than with the BASIC language itself? To get started click here : http://computerprogramming.suite101.com/...

Good luck!
Guy
